Volunteers Wanted: Help Build, Grow, & Sustain Our Community Garden!

We are seeking enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers to help build, grow, and maintain a community garden at our wellness center. This garden will serve as a shared space for growing fresh food, promoting wellness, and bringing people together through hands-on collaboration and education.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with building and installing garden beds, pathways, and basic structures
• Participate in planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting
• Support composting and sustainable gardening practices
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming garden environment
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff

Qualifications:

• Interest in gardening, sustainability, or community service
• Willingness to work outdoors and engage in light physical activity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• No prior experience required- support and guidance will be provided

Additional Details:

• Flexible scheduling; both one-time and ongoing opportunities available
• Great opportunity for individuals (18yrs +)
• Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work
