Accounting Payable Administrator I

Basic Job Functions: The Accounts Payable Administrator fulfills an integral transactional and reporting function in the Finance Department with a focus on customer service to both internal and external customers. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: Match receivers, invoices, and purchase orders daily. After verifying the accuracy of the invoice, purchase order, and receiver, enter the invoices into the accounting software for payment. Perform the weekly payments, via Kyriba for checks and ACH. Work closely with the Purchasing Department to ensure accurate and timely flow of information. Reconcile AP subledgers to AP general ledger accounts daily. Verify that any invoices received during the month are entered before month end. Run subledger and general ledger reports and verify balances for month end. Perform other job-related duties as defined by finance leadership. Additionally, this role will assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings. Candidates are required to work in-office for training and onboarding. This is a hybrid role which requires working on-site at the plant multiple days a week. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Accounting or one-year or more prior accounting experience or related relevant work. Experience with Microsoft D365 Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
