Sr. Creative Account Manager/Project Manager

Our client, the in-house agency of a large telecom company in NYC, is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Creative Account Manager / Project Manager with prior agency experience to serve as a key bridge between clients and internal teams for an ongoing contract position. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and natural leader who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and is confident managing client relationships while driving projects from concept through execution. You will oversee multiple workstreams, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and deliver high-quality creative solutions that meet both client objectives and business goals.

• This is a hybrid position and requires 3-days/week onsite in NYC
• Rate: $55-65/hour

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships
• Lead end-to-end project management across multiple creative campaigns and deliverables
• Translate client needs into clear briefs and actionable plans for internal teams
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across creative, strategy, production, and operations teams
• Proactively identify risks, solve problems, and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Present work to clients with confidence and clarity, incorporating feedback effectively
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and align with brand and campaign objectives
• Track project performance and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Required Qualifications:

• 6-10+ years of experience in an agency environment in account management, project management, or a hybrid role
• Proven ability to lead client-facing engagements and manage complex creative projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive accountability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and multiple concurrent projects
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act decisively
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Asana, Wrike, or similar)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred
