Gillmann Services seeks journeyman electricians for a 2-3 year job in Haskell, TX. Work begins at the end of July or early August.

You must pass a background check for this job.

There will be 1 full week of safety training prior to starting. This boot camp will take place in Dallas. Written and field tests will be given to determine experience and skill. Having an OSHA 10 card is mandatory If you don't physically have one, we will pay for you to take the course.

Top wage for journeymen is $32/hr.

Top wage for top helpers is $27/hr.

We are working 6-10's. Night shift +$2-$3/hr more. Free housing! A campus has been built 10 min from the jobsite. You will get your own room, toilet, shower & TV. We will provide free food, day & night. There will be an entertainment complex with movies, games, pickleball and more.

In addition, you will receive $140/day per-diem paid 7 days if you work your 60 hrs! Interested candidates can email a resume for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately to guide installation and maintenance tasks.
• Perform electrical diagnostics to identify faults or inefficiencies within complex electrical systems.
• Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely in accordance with NFPA 70 standards and local electrical codes.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.
• Utilize testing instruments such as ohmmeters to measure resistance and verify circuit integrity.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate framing carpentry, schematic layouts, and other related tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematic modifications or repairs for future reference.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or hazards during installation or troubleshooting activities.
• Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
• Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with high-voltage wiring practices and low-voltage systems.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, power meters (such as ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment confidently.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Safety Code) compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications.
• Basic handyman skills including framing carpentry can be advantageous for integrated project tasks.
• OSHA 10 certification
