Please review the job description below.Job ID: 19-52526Qualifications Basic• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology Big Data AdminSkillset Requirements– Working knowledge in Big Data Eco-System – Kafka, Nifi, Hadoop (overall admin exp of 5+ years, and 3+ years in Big Data Admin)Working knowledge in Big Data Admin activities Manage large scale multi-nodes Hadoop or Kafka cluster environmentsHadoop or Kafka - Handle all Kafka environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring. Confluent Kafka experience is preferredPerform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for the Kafka Cluster. Capacity planning and implementation of new/upgraded hardware and software releases as well as for storage infrastructureExposure to CDF(Cloudera), Hadoop is a big plus Exposure to Ni-Fi, Spark is a big plus Experience in Jenkins, GitHub Experience in implementing security & authorization (permission based) on Kafka cluster. Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts Has good knowledge of best practices Exposure to Big Data APIs
