Architectural Liaison

markilux USA is expanding our architect outreach across six US markets and we are seeking an Architectural Liaison in New York, LA, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas/Houston, and Chicago for a part-time, contract role designed for a former architect, retired specification writer, or experienced design industry professional with existing relationships inside luxury residential and hospitality architecture firms. This is not a traditional sales position. The Architectural Liaison is the trusted person inside the architecture community who introduces markilux at the right moment, schedules continuing education sessions at target firms, attends CSI and AIA chapter events, and keeps relationships warm with the architects and specifiers who shape the specification process. You bring your existing network. We bring the product, the materials, the technical support, and the operational backbone. Responsibilities Maintain active relationships with priority architecture firms in your territory through in person visits, lunches, and structured follow up. Schedule and coordinate a minimum of two markilux Continuing Education sessions per month at target firms. Attend monthly CSI and AIA chapter meetings as the markilux representative. Execute a structured five touch follow up sequence after every CE session. Identify the specifier or specification writer at each target firm and ensure they receive the markilux specification package and a direct relationship. Log every contact, visit, and interaction in our CRM within 24 hours. Report monthly on market intelligence including competitor activity, project pipeline signals, and product feedback from the field. Qualifications Former architect, project architect, or principal with ten or more years of practice. Retired or semi retired specification writer with CDT or CCS designation strongly preferred. Alternatively, a senior building product representative with deep existing relationships at luxury residential and hospitality firms. Active or recently active in local AIA and CSI chapter communities. Organized, CRM proficient, and able to track interactions consistently. Motivated by relationship building and long term account development rather than transactional selling. Compensation Monthly retainer of $1,500 to $2,500 plus per session bonuses of $150 to $250, plus $500 flat bonus per confirmed architect sourced specification with no cap, plus expense reimbursement up to $300 per month for documented mileage, parking, and meal costs. #J-18808-Ljbffr markilux USA Inc.
