Role Description The Sales Professional is a full-time, on-site role based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing client accounts, and promoting low voltage and security integration solutions across various industries. Daily responsibilities include conducting prospecting and outreach, leading client consultations, preparing proposals and quotes, and coordinating with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate solution design and smooth project delivery. The Sales Professional will maintain a robust pipeline, track activities in a CRM system, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets while providing a high level of customer service. This role also involves staying current on industry trends, local regulations, and new technologies to effectively position 1st Key’s offerings. Qualifications Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in technology, low voltage systems, security integration, or related industries. Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and account management, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into clear, value-based proposals and presentations for non-technical stakeholders. Experience using CRM tools and sales reporting to manage pipelines, track activities, and forecast results. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a consultative and customer-centric approach. High level of professionalism, integrity, and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team. Knowledge of the Denver and broader Colorado business landscape and familiarity with industries such as commercial real estate, education, hospitality, and government is strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Denver Metropolitan Area to visit clients and job sites. Prior experience in compliance‑driven environments or security‑related services is a plus.
