Job Title: Implementation Project Manager
Location: 100% Onsite- Burleson, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday; Daytime hours
Contract: 3-6-month contract
Pay: $70/hour

GTS Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a document management implementation. This role will be involved from the vendor selection and requirements-gathering phase through implementation and broader adoption. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Project Manager with document management implementation experience who can work comfortably between business users, departments, vendors, and technical teams. This person should be able to take an initial records-retention project, understand the broader capabilities of Laserfiche, and help determine how the platform could ultimately serve departments across the organization.
Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation across multiple departments.
• Work directly with end users and stakeholders to understand departmental processes, needs, and use cases.
• Help stakeholders determine how Laserfiche's document management and workflow capabilities could support their specific requirements.
• Identify opportunities to expand Laserfiche beyond the initial records-retention use case.
• Manage stakeholders with competing priorities, opinions, and requirements.
• Facilitate discussions and ensure requirements are thoroughly reviewed and agreed upon.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of approximately three Laserfiche vendors/resellers.
• Gather and refine requirements while the vendor/reseller selection process is underway.
• Help evaluate vendor capabilities against business and system requirements.
• Once a vendor is selected, help transition the project into implementation and keep the project moving forward.
• Coordinate implementation activities, stakeholders, and requirements through deployment.
• Support broader adoption as additional departments become interested in using Laserfiche.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire
• Proven experience as a Project Manager leading software or technology implementations.
• Experience implementing a document management system required.
• Laserfiche experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide, citywide, or multi-department implementations preferred.
• Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with difficult, highly opinionated, or competing stakeholders.
• Ability to sit with individual departments, understand their unique needs, and translate those needs into practical system requirements.
• Strong facilitation, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to think strategically beyond the initial project scope and identify opportunities for broader system adoption.
