EssentialFunctions Prepare, produce and presentpastries/baked goods and/or desserts according to prescribed recipes and/orspecial requests Availableto work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends Safely and effectively use andoperate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives Ability to effectivelycommunicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written andspoken direction Ability to multi-task calmlyand effectively in a busy, stressful environment Work in a confined, crowdedspace of variable noise and temperature levels Able to move and lift up to 10pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally moveand/or lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk foran entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which mayinclude stairs, uneven or slick surfaces KeyResponsibilities and Duties Follow all prescribedportioning controls and par levels Maintain food safety andquality standards Ability to read a thermometercorrectly and efficiently Communicate any food delays orissues to Coordinator Maintain menu item counts andcommunicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall belowrestaurant specific minimum quantity Accurately account for allitems coming out of the station Understand and follow the foodallergy procedure and special orders/restrictions Comply with all safety andsanitation guidelines and procedures Follow all rules, policies,procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in theEmployee Handbook Get along well with others andbe a team player #J-18808-Ljbffr
