737 Quality Engineering Program Manager

The Boeing Company’s Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager (Level K) to join our Quality Team in Renton, Washington. This role focuses on leading the 737 program team, developing and maintaining quality systems across airplane programs, and improving BCA quality execution. Responsibilities Manage employees performing quality engineering and technical activities throughout the product lifecycle. Develop quality strategies and plans to support new business acquisition and program execution. Provide education and coaching on the Quality System. Acquire and manage resources, provide quality technical management, and lead performance improvements. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports. Oversee review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility. Manage, develop, and motivate employees. Travel to Everett up to 10% of the time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action. 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions. At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience). Completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership” (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience performing statistical analysis. 5+ years of experience working with data visualization. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using a variety of approaches. Experience with engineering and change processes. Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment. Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
