You can expect a supportive and friendly atmosphere, with access to the resources needed to facilitate effective treatment. Weekly scheduled hours amount to approximately 40 hours, with variable weekends to accommodate patient needs. Our interdisciplinary team collaborates closely, sharing insights and strategies to ensure patients receive holistic care aligned with their unique requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess patients' physical conditions, history, and needs through thorough evaluations to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on your assessments, focusing on achieving rehabilitation goals.Provide ongoing consultations and progress updates to healthcare providers and family members regarding patient care plans and outcomes.Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and charges associated with provided services.Coordinate with other health professionals to execute comprehensive care, ensuring continuity and adherence to treatment protocols.Involve patients and their families in conversations about treatment methods, providing education on therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle modifications.Participate in community outreach initiatives to enhance awareness of physical therapy services and their benefits.Mentor and supervise support staff and students, providing guidance and fostering professional growth within the team.Patient Population / Client FocusThe physical therapist will predominantly serve adult and elderly patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, post-surgical recovery, and mobility impairments. Our patient population consists of diverse backgrounds, and we prioritize culturally competent care, ensuring that all patients feel understood and valued throughout their healing journey.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory.Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.Proficient in utilizing technology for documentation and communication.Demonstrated ability to develop treatment plans that align with best practices and provide patient-centered care.Preferred ExperienceWe value candidates with at least 2 years of experience in physical therapy, particularly those who are familiar with home care environments and can navigate the challenges that come with diagnosing and treating patients outside of a traditional clinical setting.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time role offers competitive compensation ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
