We are currently searching for a Roofing Service Manager to join our team!


Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the roofing service team, including the Service Superintendent, Service Coordinators, and field crews.
• Manage the service backlog and work in progress, including what work is scheduled, prioritized, completed, and closed out.
• Establish a consistent weekly planning process that aligns labor, materials, access, customer priorities, and department capacity.
• Set realistic schedule and customer commitments based on available resources, scope, and capacity.
• Monitor aging tickets, stalled work, schedule changes, and bottlenecks, and resolve issues proactively.
• Partner closely with the Service teams to prioritize work, support field execution, and ensure crews are prepared for the work assigned.
• Review service scopes before work is scheduled to ensure inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, pricing expectations, and field direction are clear.
• Ensure scopes are aligned with the work being performed by the field and reduce scope gaps, rework, and non-negotiated work.
• Conduct job site visits as needed to support safety, quality, production, and scope alignment.
• Own the customer experience from approved work through job closeout, including scheduling updates, delays, completion status, and escalated service concerns.
• Address recurring execution or customer issues at the root cause and improve department processes instead of only solving issues job by job.
• Support service margin performance through planning, labor efficiency, scope control, and disciplined execution.
• Ensure service work is properly documented, billed, and closed out in a timely manner.
• Partner with accounting on billing, AR visibility, and issue resolution.
• Track and communicate department metrics, including backlog, WIP, cycle time, margin, and completed work.
• Help improve service department processes, standards, and operating processes to support continued service and maintenance growth.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of roofing, construction, or service management experience.
• Experience working with property managers, building owners, and commercial clients.
• Experience with WIP tracking, job costing, scheduling tools, or service reporting.
• Commercial roofing or comparable construction/service leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of service work, scheduling, field operations, and customer communication.
• Ability to manage WIP, prioritize resources, and make clear decisions.
• Experience leading teams and holding people accountable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates resilience, urgency, and strong follow-through in a fast-paced service environment.
• Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, repairs, maintenance, quality, and safety.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required background, MVR, and drug screening requirements.

Salary: The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000 per year. Salary is to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location where job is performed. Haselden does not discriminate based upon any protected category with respect to the payment of wages.
