Operations Support Specialist

Hybrid Details: 2 days in office/week (flexible) Duration: 12 months Summary The client is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to work across three complex strategy areas: Workforce Development, Foundational Capabilities, and Data Modernization. Responsibilities Assist with complex tasks involved in the implementation and administration of the grant, a unique, cross cutting funding opportunity that supports all divisions and programs. Organize and maintain official electronic files in MS Teams/SharePoint to ensure information is easy to find and catalogued for reference in the future. Assist with the purchasing and procurement of good and services that support the goals of the grant. Study and analyze operational procedures and prepare detailed and comprehensive reports of findings and recommendations. Assist a with coordination and communication with other states teams. Coordinate the flow of work across strategy areas and various program within the agency. Track projects through execution and completion elevate issues that need follow up. Attend conferences and meetings on behalf of the executive leadership team and take notes. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Superior attention to detail. Must be able to multitask and prioritize. Flexibility and comfort working as part of a team and independently in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift. Strong understanding of government administration, process, and procedures. Must be comfortable working in SharePoint. Familiarity with JIRA preferred Education And Experience Education gained through successful completion of at least two years of academic study in an accredited institution of higher education; and Experience gained through employment in a government assisting a high-level official performing complex administrative and supportive tasks involved in the implementation and administration of major projects and programs that had effect on all large divisions, departments or agencies. #J-18808-Ljbffr Talent Groups
