Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing small metal parts for vehicles. The position involves working with large stamping presses, small machine welding stations, and production lines to ensure high-quality output.

• Operate production lines efficiently and safely.
• Push carts of product and move materials around the facility.
• Perform lifting and labor tasks with attention to detail.
• Exhibit a high level of initiative and attendance.
• Operate cranes and assist in moving and organizing large metal coils.
• Conduct quality checks on fuel lids and ensure they meet standards.
• Serve as the connection between production and shipping, double-checking products and building pallets according to customer orders.
• Set up and adjust machinery settings, demonstrating mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Perform quality checks on small metal parts, primarily through visual inspections, and report findings to the quality team.
• Utilize lathe and grinding machines for sharpening tips in the welding department.

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments.
• Ability to handle materials, assemble, select orders, and manage inventory.
• Proficiency in using pallet jacks and packing, loading, and picking tasks.
• Capability to stand on feet for 10+ hours a day and lift 30+ lbs repeatedly.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret work instructions.
• Completion of necessary paperwork related to the position.

• Experience in a production facility or warehouse.
• Ability to lift objects over the head repeatedly.
• Openness to performing other job duties, including machine operation.

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment where you will stand on your feet all day for 8-10 hour shifts. You will work as part of a team, occupying your own station but never fully alone.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in San Antonio,TX.
