Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist Position

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at VAMC in Fairfield, CA in a full-time capacity working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients by developing and implementing treatment plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy and Board Certified
• Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Must have a minimum of one year of inpatient rehabilitation experience and one year of experience in outpatient PT setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations to determine their physical condition and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient goals and needs
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to improve physical function
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
