CT Technologist

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
• Administer contrast media as required, observing patient reactions and reporting any concerns.
• Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and deliverables.
• Assist in the radiology department as needed, including performing X-ray imaging when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging or related field.
• Current certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Demonstrated ability to perform imaging procedures proficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of patient safety and comfort principles in imaging procedures.

Working Conditions

This position requires working evening shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role may involve exposure to radiation, and adherence to safety protocols is essential. Flexibility to cover X-ray duties as needed is also required.
