As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol in Summerville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, support a welcoming environment, and contribute through teamwork and integrity within Allied Universal’s caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
