Working Foreman/ Site Manager - Lincolnshire

Site Manager / Working Foreman (Fit-Out) Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire Rate: £230 - £260 Start Date: 15th June Duration: Initial 6-Week Contract (Further Projects Available) The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager / Working Foreman to oversee the complete strip-out and refurbishment of a commercial gym facility in Lincolnshire . This is a fast-paced £300k fit-out project with an initial build programme of approximately six weeks. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme, and ensuring works are delivered safely and to a high standard. Following successful delivery of this project, there is a strong pipeline of upcoming fit-out schemes across the UK, providing the potential for ongoing work. Key Responsibilities Manage daily site operations from strip-out through to handover. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on site. Maintain programme and assist in driving the project to completion. Ensure health & safety compliance at all times. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress reporting. Liaise with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. Maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Candidate Requirements Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects. Previous experience as a Site Manager or Working Foreman. Carpentry or Joinery background highly advantageous. Comfortable managing approximately 15–20 operatives on site. Strong organisational and communication skills. Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification preferred. Future Projects Additional fit-out projects are expected to follow in locations including: Milton Keynes Northamptonshire East Midlands This role would suit a hands-on Site Manager who is happy to assist in pushing projects over the line when required and enjoys working within fast-track refurbishment environments.
