Purpose: JBC Technologies, Inc. is a progressive die cut manufacturer that pushes industry boundaries and expands what can be expected of a die cutting manufacturer. The company is growing and has an immediate need to expand its management staff with an experienced Accountant. This position will report to the CFO. This is a hands-on role with growth potential that requires strategic thinking and management of accounting and finance activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the monthly close, general ledger accounting, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP guidelines. Perform analysis of operating results and drive financial growth. Develop and drive short- and long-term strategic plans. Manage treasury functions, including cash flow projections and banking relationships. Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls. Prepare all required state and local tax information for Outside accounting firm. Work closely with the CFO and Management staff on financial evaluation and recommendations on new business opportunities and initiatives. Develop and maintain financial forecasting and budgets to support cash management needs and improved profitability. Develop reports to provide critical financial and operational information. Education and Experience: BS in Accounting/Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred. Minimum of 3 years of business and accounting experience. Manufacturing industry background required. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Advanced Microsoft Office skills; ERP system experience required with conversion experience a plus. Proven leadership skills and presentation skills. Ability to Multi-Task in a fast-paced environment. Well organized with attention to detail. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Solid communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the company. Ability to travel. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Physical Demands: Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basis. Personal Protective Equipment: Protective equipment not required but available for nuisance dust. Work Schedule: Normal Schedule – 8 am to 5 pm; Monday thru Friday; May vary with business needs. Work performed in a plant/production environment. Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise. Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervision.
