• Pay HK$38,290 – HK$61,618 (HGPS Pt 15 — 25) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff at the end of each 3 years during the 9-year contract period subject to satisfactory performance. |

Key Responsibilities

1. Coach and monitor nurse learners’ clinical performance, as well as their professional conduct.
2. Negotiate and coordinate nurse learners’ participation in ward activities with clinical staff.
3. Facilitate active learning in clinical setting, such as integration of theoretical learning to clinical practice.
4. Take part in assessing and evaluating the clinical performance of nurse learners.
5. Provide counseling, guidance, supervision and assistance to nurse learners during clinical practicum.
6. Participate in educational, clinical and management activities of the School in the promotion of nursing and nursing education.

Entry Requirements

1. A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
2. Fluent Cantonese.

Preferable Attributes/Exposure

1. Clinical experience in the relevant specialty / services.
2. Mentoring / Teaching experience in clinical areas.
3. Higher academic qualifications.
4. A Master degree in nursing or related discipline.
5. Able to communicate in English.
6. Demonstrated competency requirements and role model of a mentor.
7. Committed in vision and mission of Hong Kong Island Cluster.
