Role Skills Institute Coach Location: Sofive Rockville What You’ll Love About This Job Flexible, part-time hours that fit your schedule Limited coaching experience required, but a love of the game and some playing experience helps Fun, dynamic, and supportive team environment Opportunity to grow leadership, communication, and coaching skills Be part of a rapidly expanding company with opportunities for advancement Make a real difference in young athletes’ development and confidence What You’ll Be Doing Lead engaging soccer training sessions for kids ages 5 to 12 Use our proven Skills Institute curriculum to teach core technical skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork Create a positive, encouraging, and challenging environment where players can grow Foster character development by emphasizing teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship Build meaningful relationships with players and families Represent the Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil’ Kickers brands with enthusiasm Support marketing efforts and assist with special events when needed Schedule Weekend availability is required Additional opportunities available on weekday afternoons and evenings Shifts are consistent throughout a 13-week season What You’ll Need A positive attitude and a big smile Passion for youth development and a love of soccer Willingness to learn and grow as a coach Commitment to weekly shifts for the duration of each season Ability to work with kids ages 5 to 12 and keep them engaged Background check required $20 / hour Whether you’re looking to build a career in coaching, develop your leadership skills, or simply share your love of soccer with the next generation — this is the perfect opportunity to make a lasting impact.
