Key Responsibilities

As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing independent advanced nursing care and clinical expertise, addressing the comprehensive healthcare needs of women.
• Managing a variety of medical conditions across obstetrics and gynecology, including chronic medical issues and acute care situations.
• Performing essential non-invasive and invasive procedures in both routine examinations as well as in higher-complexity situations as required.
• Making informed patient management decisions and consulting with attending physicians or senior team members as necessary.
• Serving as a clinical resource for nurses, residents, and support staff, promoting teamwork and enhancing the care delivery model.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on women of all ages, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. In this position, you will address a wide range of health issues, including routine gynecological care, prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and menopause management. Your dedication to understanding and advocating for each patient's individual health journey will be critical in cultivating strong patient-provider relationships and improving health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing or relevant doctorate (DNP or PhD) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses in the state of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications through the American Heart Association.
• DEA certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
• Strong clinical acumen with a minimum of one year of recent experience in a direct patient care role in outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with specialized training or experience in gynecological examinations, prenatal and postnatal care, and familiarity with performance improvement practices will be highly regarded. Applicants demonstrating effective judgment skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously will enhance our focus on providing individualized care.

Compensation and Benefits
