Work Environment

The position is based onsite within a vibrant hospital environment in Miami, where you will work alongside obstetricians, gynecologists, and other nurse practitioners. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical examinations and health assessments, documenting findings meticulously in compliance with departmental protocols.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to conduct specialized women's health services, including IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and pessary fittings.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members to formulate and implement individualized care plans for complex cases.
• Actively advocate for patients, addressing their physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive needs during their healthcare journey.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout their care processes.
• Review and manage medical records for follow-up appointments and diagnostic study orders, adhering to established protocols for patient care continuity.
• Leverage technology, including electronic health records and telecommunication tools, for documentation, tracking, and coordinating patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and legal regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and risk management are prioritized at all times.
• Demonstrate calmness and decision-making abilities in emergency situations, following established protocols while promptly alerting the necessary personnel.
• Exemplify a service-oriented philosophy, ensuring that all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues reflect the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position specifically focuses on treating women of all ages, addressing a broad range of health concerns from routine gynecological check-ups to pregnancy-related care. Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program specializing in women's health.
• Current Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in women’s health as a Nurse Practitioner is required.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience specifically in women's health will be advantageous.
• Experience with an array of women's health services, specifically IUD insertions and biopsies.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and telehealth methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from $120,000 to $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. Along with competitive salaries, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
