About the Role:

This position is responsible for coordinating trailer logistics, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety regulations to maximize operational uptime and reliability. The Trailer Foreman leads a team of technicians and drivers, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight to maintain high standards of service quality and safety. By proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges, the Foreman ensures that trailers are ready and available to meet fluctuating demand and support business objectives. Ultimately, this role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of trailer operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and overall service delivery success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day activities of trailer technicians
• Assign jobs, monitor workflow, and ensure timely completion of repairs
• Train, mentor, and develop technicians to maintain high-quality standards
• Perform quality control checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and safety
• Assist the Trailer Service Manager in customer communications, providing updates on job status and timelines
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment
• Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty trailer repair and service
• Prior leadership experience managing or supervising a team of technicians
• Strong mechanical knowledge of trailers and trailer systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members effectively
• Lead with integrity and make a real impact on shop operations
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical required
