Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Care for post-surgical patients including those recovering from cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
• Manage pain management protocols and monitor CIWA patients
• Utilize facility equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on hospital census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical or acute care RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Medical Surgical or acute care setting strongly preferred
• Prior experience with HCA facilities
• High-energy, fast-paced personality with strong interpersonal skills
