Plumbing Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join a growing team and will play a key role in supporting the bid estimating team on plumbing scopes for large-scale construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for plumbing systems on large-scale construction projects
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope and material requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including general contractors and clients
- Utilize estimating software to develop detailed takeoffs and pricing
- Support bid submissions and ensure deadlines are met in a high-volume environment
- Assist in value engineering and cost optimization strategies
Qualifications (Must-Have)
- Strong experience in plumbing estimating for large-scale projects such as multifamily, commercial, high-rise, hospitals, stadiums, data centers, or other mission-critical builds
- Proficiency with estimating tools and software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, Procore, Trimble products, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on field experience in plumbing with transition into an office-based estimating role
- Experience working on local projects and interacting directly with general contractors and clients
