K-12th Grade Special Education Teacher

Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated educator to join a supportive school district in Wilmington, Delaware for a contract assignment. If you're committed to helping students reach their full potential while working with a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Provide engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and families.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and school staff.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • As soon as possible - June 28th, 2027 

Qualifications

  • Active Delaware Special Education Teaching License (or ability to obtain before start).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
