Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience recommended License: Valid Michigan RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma Experience strongly recommended Description: Offering up to 26 weeks. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Preference for 2 years recent experience in an emergency room setting. Level 1 Trauma Experience is strongly recommended. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated at this time; please redirect if this is a dealbreaker. There are no call requirements for this position. Staff will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays as needed by the unit. Expected to be clocked in and ready for report at the start of the shift. Daily patient ratios are typically 5:1. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit has a daily census of approximately 260. Number of rooms in the unit is 49 with 59 beds available. References at the supervisor level are required. Modules will be completed during the orientation process and annually thereafter.
