About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience, preferably with Level 1 Trauma experience License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Preferred certifications include ENPC, NIH, and CPI Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. This position requires working every other weekend and holidays as needed. There is no call requirement, and floating is not expected. You will be expected to be clocked in and ready for report at the scheduled shift time. Preferred experience includes general emergency department work, particularly in combined adult/pediatric settings. Daily patient ratios are approximately 5 patients per nurse during the day and night shifts. The unit serves various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available from respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. Daily census is approximately 260 patients with 59 beds available. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. References required must be at a supervisor level.
