Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: Up to 26 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience, Level 1 Trauma experience strongly recommended License: Valid Michigan RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center preferred Description: The Emergency Room is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team. This position requires working every other weekend and holidays as needed. Candidates should have a preference for 2 years of recent experience in a similar setting. Candidates must possess the required certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. No call requirement is associated with this position. Expected to be clocked in and ready for report at the start of the shift. The unit provides care to various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 260 patients, with a unit consisting of 59 beds. Interdisciplinary support services are available within the unit. Reference checks will be required, and they must be at a supervisor level.
