WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED IN THIS HOTEL DIRECTOR OF SALES ROLE We're seeking someone who brings: A bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of hotel or hospitality sales experience Success in meeting or exceeding sales goals Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel locally within the West Valley City market Preferred Qualifications: Multi-property or regional sales experience Experience with Hilton, Marriott, or similar hotel brands Established local business connections in the Utah market WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS Here's what you'll be doing on a typical day: Create and execute strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue across multiple hotel properties. Generate new business through corporate, government, group, and extended-stay account development. Meet with prospective and existing clients, conducting property tours, negotiating agreements, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Represent the properties at networking events and collaborate with hotel operations teams. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building connections, creating winning strategies, and producing measurable results. You'll enjoy the variety of working across multiple properties while having a direct impact on occupancy, market share, and overall hotel performance. This position is ideal for a professional who excels at building connections and achieving measurable results. You will develop and execute sales plans to enhance performance, respond to leads and RFPs, and negotiate contracts that drive revenue. Additionally, you will track sales activities through CRM systems, attend industry events, and identify emerging market trends.
