Patient Services Specialist

Responsibilities Perform front‑office clerical duties in a medical clinic including scheduling, answering calls, and maintaining patient records. Work at designated stations and assist colleagues in all patient services duties. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with privacy regulations. Coordinate appointments, insurance verification, and referral processing. Respond to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service. Edit written materials such as communications, practice documents, and marketing copy. Assist in projects and additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma and GED; healthcare experience is preferred. Strong copywriting and editing skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse range of personalities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Valid state driver’s license and willingness to travel 26–50%. Core Capabilities Critical thinking, problem solving, planning, and time management.
