Job Location: Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Compensation: $85K-$125K Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable applications. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and DevOps to deliver high quality software solutions that support business objectives. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, test and maintain Java-based applications and services Write clean, efficient and well documented code following best practices Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to define and implement new features Troubleshoot, debug and optimize application performance Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing Integrate with RESTful API’s and third-party services Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions Ensure application security, scalability and reliability Job Requirements: 3–7+ years of experience in software development using Java Strong proficiency in core Java and object-oriented programming principles Experience with frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub or Git) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Understanding of microservices architecture Java, Spring Boot REST APIs SQL databases GitHub Collaboration tools: Jira, Figma Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Equal Employment Opportunity Company: HuLoop is an Equal Employment Opportunity company that offers an excellent benefit package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K.
