About the Role:
M & M Home Contractors Inc is looking for a talented and driven Interior Designer / Project Coordinator to join our team in Cologne, MN! Responsibilities:
- Develop and present interior design concepts, mood boards, and material selections for residential and/or commercial projects
- Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with clients to understand design needs, preferences, and budgets
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to align design intent with construction execution
- Source and specify materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design standards are met
- Manage project documentation, purchase orders, and change orders
Requirements:
- Degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in interior design and/or project coordination
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
