Field Sales Professional - Ocala, FL

Job Summary Field Sales Professional to serve as a consultative partner with schools, club select and travel programs, youth leagues, YMCA organizations, and community-based athletic programs within the assigned territory. The role drives full-cycle sales execution, from proactive prospecting and lead generation to account management and post-sale service. Location Ocala, FL. Hybrid environment between home office and field-based position. Must reside in or near the territory full‑time and travel 2–5 days per week. Work Type Full‑time hybrid. Must live and travel 2–5 days per week in the territory. Compensation Base draw range $55,000–$65,000 annually plus performance‑based incentives. Salary may vary based on education, experience, location, internal equity, and market alignment. Work Hours Hours may vary based on customer needs. Evenings and weekends may be required. Travel Requirement Primary local travel to schools and organizations within the territory (2–5+ days a week). Some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected. Responsibilities Provide best‑in‑class, consultative customer service to coaches across the assigned territory. Generate revenue and meet sales and growth targets. Develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold‑calling and lead generation campaigns. Handle rejection with resilience and turn challenges into opportunities. Navigate the company’s CRM for prospecting, account management, and activity tracking. Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels. Utilize data‑driven business intelligence to identify new trends and opportunities. Manage account list and travel on location within the assigned territory. Qualifications High level of self‑direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities. Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time‑management skills to meet deadlines. Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM. Ability to maintain a home office environment that is distraction‑free. Education & Experience 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports‑related background. Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
