Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
• Operate Hologic mammography equipment
• Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Assist with breast imaging procedures and workflow coordination
• Support breast ultrasound, bone density, and breast biopsy services as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow department protocols, quality assurance standards, and radiation safety practices
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive breast imaging services

• Extremely high-volume Breast Care Imaging department
• Approximately 100 patients seen daily
• Comprehensive breast imaging services including:
  • Mammography
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Bone Density (DEXA)
  • Breast Biopsy Procedures
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Hologic imaging equipment utilized throughout the department

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Mammography experience
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (ARRT-M)
• AHA BLS Certification
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Experience working in a high-volume imaging environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with breast ultrasound and breast biopsy procedures
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Experience using Hologic mammography systems
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-volume Breast Care Imaging department. This facility serves approximately 100 patients per day and requires a confident, efficient technologist with strong mammography experience and prior travel assignment experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing high-quality mammographic imaging while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
