Job Summary:
The position of Mammographer is located in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves performing breast imaging procedures, including mammograms, breast ultrasounds, bone density scans, and breast biopsies in a high-volume facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Min of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography is required. AHA (American Heart Association) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT - Mammography; AHA BLS; minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mammography; experience with Hologic machines; minimum of 0 years of experience overall.
• Additional Information: This is a 13-week travel assignment at a very busy facility with a high patient volume, seeing approximately 100 patients daily. Candidates must have previous travel experience and be highly experienced mammographers to handle the high workload and procedures. Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for this position.
