COUNTRY TILE IS HIRING — TILE MECHANIC / INSTALLER
Country Tile is looking for an experienced, dependable Tile Mechanic / Installer to join our team.
Pay: $35–$58/hour depending on project type
• Residential projects: starting at $35/hour
• Qualifying commercial/prevailing -rate projects: up to $58/hour
Responsibilities include:
• Professional installation of ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other tile
• Floors, walls, showers, backsplashes, and related tile work
• Layout, measuring, cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing
• Proper surface preparation and waterproofing
• Reading layouts/plans and completing work to project specifications
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Proper use of wet saws, grinders, and other tile tools
• Following Country Tile and job-site safety requirements
Requirements:
• Previous professional tile installation experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to safely lift and move tile and construction materials
• OSHA-10 required for applicable commercial projects
• Must follow Country Tile safety and silica-dust-control procedures
