Payroll & Benefits SpecialistLocation: Brattleboro, VTWe are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join a growing manufacturing organization. This position will be responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration, employee support, and ensuring compliance with applicable payroll regulations.Responsibilities:Process payroll accurately and timely for employees across multiple statesReview payroll data, deductions, taxes, and benefit elections for accuracyRespond to employee payroll and benefits inquiriesAssist with benefits enrollment, changes, and ongoing administrationReconcile benefit deductions and support audit activitiesMaintain employee records within payroll and HRIS systemsPrepare reports and support compliance requirementsAssist with process improvements and payroll-related projectsQualifications:5+ years of payroll processing experienceExperience processing multi-state payroll, including MA, CT, VT, and NYPaylocity experience requiredStrong understanding of payroll regulations and complianceExperience with payroll audits, deductions, taxes, and garnishmentsBenefits administration experience preferredStrong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team environment where you'll have the chance to contribute across both payroll and benefits functions while continuing to grow your expertise.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brattleboro, VT.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
