Reporting to the Associate Controller of Property Management, this position is responsible for full-cycle property accounting, including financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, budgeting support, and performance analysis.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain property accounting records in compliance with GAAPPrepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingAnalyze budget variances, financial statements, and key performance metricsComplete required HUD, MHFA, lender, and regulatory reportingSupport annual budgeting, audits, and audit workpaper preparationAssist with accounting policies, internal controls, and operational procedures, including fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and depreciationResearch and resolve accounting and financial inquiriesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencyProvide support to the Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller and perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications/RequirementsUnderstanding of financial statements, general ledgers, trial balances, accounting theory, and accounting software systemsStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsExperience working with YARDI or other similar property accounting softwareEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting2-5 years financial accounting experienceOr a combination of education and experienceWhy You'll Love Working at PPLCompetitive Pay$65,000 - $70,000 annually DOQ/ExemptFull-timeComprehensive Benefits PackageHealth & Dental InsuranceEmployer-paid Short- & Long-Term Disability and Life InsurancePaid Parental LeaveHSA or FSA optionsGenerous PTO & Paid Holidays403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer MatchWork-Life Balance & PerksSummer Half-Day Fridays (Memorial Day–Labor Day)Purpose-Driven WorkMake a real difference in people's lives and in your community every dayProject for Pride in Living, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
