Roll Forming Line Technician

HTI is partnering with a growing manufacturer in the Easley/Greenville, SC area to add a skilled Roll Forming Line Technician. If you enjoy setting up equipment, dialing in tooling, reading prints, and turning raw coil into precise metal components, this role puts you at the center of production.

Your shift begins on the roll-forming line in Easley, SC. You review production orders and drawings, set tooling, verify machine parameters, and run first-piece checks with calipers and gauges. Throughout the run, you monitor dimensional accuracy, adjust feeds, and keep scrap and downtime logged. You coordinate with quality and production leaders to reduce waste, follow OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures, and keep the area 5S-clean. When needed, you assist with coil loading using a forklift or overhead crane (with proper authorization). You wrap up by completing documentation and performing basic preventive maintenance for the next run.

• Operate roll forming equipment safely and efficiently to meet output and quality targets
• Set up tooling, make machine adjustments, and confirm proper operation
• Interpret blueprints, production orders, and work instructions
• Conduct in-process inspections with tape measures, calipers, gauges, and related tools
• Track dimensional accuracy and product quality during production
• Troubleshoot minor issues with the machine, tooling, or material feed
• Assist with coil loading and material handling using forklifts or overhead cranes (as authorized)
• Accurately complete production, quality, scrap, and downtime records
• Perform routine checks and basic preventive maintenance
• Maintain 5S standards and follow OSHA, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Collaborate with production, quality, and leadership to improve efficiency and reduce waste

• Background in manufacturing or industrial machine operation
• Experience with roll forming, metal fabrication, or similar machinery preferred
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings and follow specifications
• Confident with tape measures, calipers, and gauges; measure accurately to 1/32" or better
• Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting ability
• Basic math and computer proficiency
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience is a plus
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

• Stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Work around noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
• Wear required PPE during the workday
