Accounting Manager
We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations for a growing real estate/construction organization. This role will manage financial records, project accounting, payroll, reporting, and budgeting while working closely with leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage AP, payroll, vendor payments, GL entries, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple entities.
- Handle project accounting, job costing, WIP schedules, and cost tracking.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
- Support lender reporting, investor transactions, and financial planning.
- Work with leadership and the Controller on reporting and special projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- 3-8 years of accounting experience, including financial management.
- Real estate or construction accounting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel.
- Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction software is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism, accuracy, and integrity.
