Insurance Subrogation Associate Attorney

We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to represent insurance carriers and self-insured clients in affirmative recovery actions. This role focuses on filing and prosecuting subrogation lawsuits against responsible third parties to recover paid claim losses.

Responsibilities:

• File and prosecute subrogation/recovery lawsuits on behalf of insurance carriers and self-insured clients
• Draft complaints, motions, pleadings, and written discovery
• Handle all phases of litigation including depositions, hearings, and court appearances
• Evaluate liability and damages to support recovery strategy
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers
• Collaborate with clients and claims professionals on case strategy and updates
• Manage an active litigation docket with strong attention to deadlines

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing
• 2–5+ years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense, plaintiff-side, or general litigation)
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple active matters in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently with support and training as needed
• Subrogation experience is not required
