Marketing Manager

NEC US is seeking an energetic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Manager to work with the leadership team to support a repositioning of our business and drive growth across established and proven solutions. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on marketing professional who enjoys building programs from the ground up. You will develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, generate qualified sales opportunities, support business development, elevate executive thought leadership, and communicate our mission to customers, partners, employees, and industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing marketing strategy in the morning, designing event materials in the afternoon, updating the website before the end of the day, and supporting an executive presentation when needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1, Strategic Marketing 30% Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy. Align marketing initiatives with business growth objectives. Build marketing plans supporting federal, state, local, and commercial markets. Establish KPIs and report marketing performance. Demand Generation Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns. Create campaigns supporting product launches and solution offerings. Support proposal and capture activities with marketing collateral. Create capability statements. Build presentation templates. Support proposal graphics. 3. Communications 15% Draft customer communications. Support internal communications when appropriate. 4. Brand Management 10% Maintain and strengthen the NEC US brand. Ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Manage brand standards and visual identity. Events Plan and execute trade shows. Coordinate conferences. Manage customer events. Coordinate webinars. 5. Website 10% Update website content. Improve SEO. Publish news articles. Coordinate with developers when needed. Manage LinkedIn and other social channels. Develop editorial calendars. Measure campaign effectiveness. Build executive thought leadership. 7. Analytics 5% Monitor website traffic. Measure ROI. Recommend improvements. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 5+ years of progressive marketing experience. Strong writing and editing skills. Graphic design experience. Experience with website content management systems. Event planning experience. Experience using marketing analytics tools. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint. Preferred Experience supporting government contractors or technology companies. Familiarity with cybersecurity, biometrics, identity management, or public safety technologies. Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and marketing automation platforms. Experience supporting executive communications. Success in the First Year Within your first twelve months, you will: Build the NEC SWS-US marketing function. Launch integrated lead generation campaigns. Increase website engagement and brand visibility. Successfully manage industry conferences and customer events. Produce high-quality marketing collateral supporting business development.
