Salary: $50,000–$65,000 + Annual Bonus

Our client, a well-established and privately held company in Louisville, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join its accounting team. Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including processing 200–300 invoices per month and weekly check runs.
• Support accounts receivable by posting cash receipts and assisting with collections.
• Assist with month-end close by preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger support.
• Process biweekly payroll for approximately 40 salaried employees (payroll experience preferred but not required).
• Maintain accounting records using Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel.
• Support project accounting activities, including progress billing and job costing for large capital equipment projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Construction, manufacturing, project accounting, or job costing experience is highly preferred.
• Stable work history with a desire to build a long-term career.
