Afinitas is part of BW Forsyth Partners, LLC, the investment group of global manufacturing and engineering consulting firm Barry-Wehmiller, a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members, united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.**Job Description:****Job Description****Afinitas** is **Hiring** for a Machine Operator.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES*** Startup and shut down machines as recommended by maintenance* Operate the machine in such a manner to meet Afinitas quality standards* Operate the machine in both a safe and productive manner* Perform required preventative maintenance* Read prints and complete miters meeting Afinitas standards* Setup and program saws for automatic cutting operations* All other duties as assigned**QUALIFICATIONS*** Qualified operator for all three saws* Qualified to read prints and complete miters meeting Hawkeye standards* Qualified to setup and program all three saws for automatic cutting operations* Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities* Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment**WORK ENVIRONMENT*** Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
