What You'll Be Doing As a Part-Time Maintenance Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the hotel is clean, functional, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include: Performing routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel and guest rooms. Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. Repairing or replacing plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, switches, outlets, and other building components. Conducting minor drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repair work. Inspecting guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and equipment for maintenance issues. Assisting with preventative maintenance of hotel equipment and systems. Keeping tools, supplies, and maintenance areas organized. Reporting major repairs, safety hazards, or equipment issues to management. Assisting with emergency maintenance situations when needed. Following all hotel safety procedures and workplace regulations. Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and staff. What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you should have: 1 year of experience in maintenance, hotel, apartment, building, or handyman work. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs. The ability to troubleshoot problems and determine when professional assistance is needed. Proficiency in using common hand and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently. Good communication and customer-service skills. The physical ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform maintenance tasks. Willingness to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends or holidays as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience. Certifications or trade training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance. Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies when scheduled. Why Join Us?
