PositionMammography Supervisor- Womens Imaging LocationBeaufort Memorial Hospital Full-Time/Part-TimeFull-Time ShiftDays Exempt/Non-ExemptNon-Exempt DescriptionUnder the direction of the Women’s Imaging & Breast Care Services Manager with limited supervision and broad general directions, performs administrative duties of supervision within the department and is responsible for directing departmental activities, technologist staff, and ancillary personnel. Fiscal responsibilities include budget projections, financial variance analysis, and procedure coding. Participates and directs staff in Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Makes recommendations and assists Director in planning for new services, including vendor negotiations, architectural design, and program development. Maintains Policies and Procedures that adhere to applicable federal, state and local standards. Participates as a staff technologist when necessary. Areas of direct responsibility include: Mammography Department including stereotactic breast biopsy.Position RequirementsEducation:Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of mammography experience required.In addition, at least one year of supervisory experience in Imaging required; or 2 years of mammography experience may substitute for supervisory experience.Preferred supervisory experience to include: Direct supervision of a of two FTE's, previous JCAHO preparation and inspection, specific experience with OSHA and state regulatory agencies, fiscal responsibility for preparation and monitoring of operational budgets, policies and procedures, protocol implementation, vendor negotiations, equipment installation, hospital committee work, reimbursement and coding applications.Certifications/Licenses:ARRT Registered Mammography TechnologistSCRQSA certification required.BLS required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association)EOE StatementBeaufort Memorial Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
