Clinical Sales Specialist, Electrophysiology - LAAO (Upstate NY)

Abbott seeks a Clinical Sales Specialist for Electrophysiology to provide clinical and sales support for structural heart stroke prevention products in Upstate New York. The role involves educating interventional cardiologists and catheter lab staff on product use, delivering technical support during procedures, and collaborating with territory managers to achieve clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide case coverage and clinical support with territory managers for patient outcomes
- Educate customers on proper clinical usage and benefits of structural heart products
- Deliver surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education to staff
- Engage in clinical discussions linking outcome data to product messaging
- Meet with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs and propose solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 9+ years cardiovascular work experience with 3+ years in structural heart or electrophysiology
- Vendor credentialing requirements verification, including COVID-19 vaccination if applicable
- Strong clinical orientation with ability to influence diverse clinician types
- Life sciences degree or medical training (RN, EMT, perfusion) preferred
- Experience with interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery products preferred
Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
