Polysomnographic Technologist III

Position Summary
$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates

A Polysomnographic Technologist III works under the general supervision of the medical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with sleep disorders including in-center and out-of-center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A Polysomnographic Technologist III is able to perform the duties defined and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or Associates Degree in Polysomnography (Sleep Technology) is required.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and Registered as RPSGT with North Carolina Medical Board.
• 6 to 10 years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist.

• Primary Shift: Night
  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7:30pm - 8:00am
• On Call: No
• Weekends: Yes
• IMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Polysomnographic Technologist III, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Polysomnographic Technologist I, II, III or IV.
